The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies.  Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes.  IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

Education and Experience:

• Enrolled in an IT program
• Experience providing phone, chat, and live support to
  • troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents, and
  • fulfill users requests

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge and hands on experience with O365, Windows OS, laptops, and mobile devices
• Experience troubleshooting and successfully resolving Incidents and Tasks
• Able to follow written instructions in English for Knowledge Base (KB) articles

• Self starter
• Inquisitive – not afraid to ask questions
• Ability to prioritize work, based on ticket lifecycle
• Ability to network and build relationships across the IT Organization

Primary Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to workers via phone, Live Chat, and walk-up service Bar.
• Tasks worked may include software installations, account unlocks, mobile support, PC troubleshooting and routing to other teams.

​The range for this position is $1,519.00 - $3,074.00 biweekly.  Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
