Corning’s Environmental Technologies segment manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world.
Scope of the Position:
Partner with teams across the manufacturing plant to optimize planning systems, establish new or improved processes to enable a more efficient and predictable manufacturing plan.
Day to Day Tasks:

Day-to-day and short-term planning for all modules to promote delivery of product to the extrusion plants.

Working closely with operations and other plant functions to manage priority, available of assets, and customer dedicated shipment plans.

Scheduling of critical areas.

Daily interaction with operations on performance and adjustments needed for maintaining plans to deliver.

Management of material at outsource vendors as part of the plan to deliver.

Systems sponsor for new items requested from extrusion plants.

Management of changes throughout the system to provide operations with the customer direction.

Service requests including non-standard requests to sponsor overall worldwide extrusion plants.

Provide mid to long-term forecasting to enable security of raw materials and critical production materials planning.

Advocate Performance Excellence and other corporate manufacturing engineering initiatives as needed.
Hours of work/work schedule:

Standard work schedule during business hours; Monday – Friday with some evening and weekend hours to meet production/project needs as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. in Supply Chain or Engineering with supply chain experience.

3+ years’ experience in supply chain for manufacturing or equivalent.
- ERP system experience.

The range for this position is $63,609.00 - $87,463.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
