Corning’s Environmental Technologies segment manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world.

 

Role Purpose

As our intern, you will be involved with Corning’s Environmental Technologies (CET) segment which manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world. The purpose of our Intern Program is to raise the bar on talent by strengthening our pipeline for entry level roles for our immediate and future needs.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate Level Engineering program; preference for Material Science, Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis
  • Working knowledge or experience with design of experiments (DOE) concepts  
  • Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2025 (May-August 2025) with a graduation date of December 2025 or later
  • Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity.
  • Be willing to work at the posted job location

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Understanding or experience with ceramic pastes
  • Basic understanding of ceramic extrusion
  • Experience with Six Sigma DMAIC or similar principles​​​​​

​The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly.  Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
