The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies.  Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes.  IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

 

Scope of Position:

 

As Salesforce Operations Support Analyst you will be responsible for the daily support of multiple Salesforce environments, with a focus on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Field Service. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce best practices and the ability to work independently with strong organizational and time-management skills.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Field Service modules in Salesforce.
  • Salesforce configuration such as workflow rules, approval processes, flows, email alerts, user management, object management, and security configuration
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as data cleanup, transfer, backup, and restore
  • Performs managed package installation and set-up activities
  • Maintain integrations with connected and related system
  • Create or update reports & dashboards and show end users how to use the reporting capabilities
  • Answer any end user how-to questions and give demos of Salesforce functionality
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate with necessary teams to complete tasks requiring Apex triggers, Apex classes, Visualforce, and Lightning Components
  • Troubleshoot and fix any problems with Salesforce with documented issue/resolution in ServiceNow
  • Validate and deploy Developer change sets, including post-deploy configuration steps
  • Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedure
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to provide ongoing support
  • Works with minimal supervision and with wide latitude for independent judgment and may offer advice and/or guidance to junior administrators

 

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Salesforce Administrator certification required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Field Service experience.
  • Knowledge of general CRM concepts, trends, and industry best practices 
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce platform
  • Experience with Community Portal (Force.com Sites, Customer and Partner Portal)
  • Understands all aspects of Salesforce sandbox management
  • Experience working in multiple orgs simultaneously
  • Experience with Salesforce deployments
  • Experience in agile methodology
  • Experience with implementing Salesforce App Exchange products
  • Experience with Salesforce customization including security controls, profiles, permission sets, roles, record types, page layouts, custom settings, flows, validation rules, approvals, and reports/dashboards.
  • Experience with enterprise integration and ETL tools
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate professionally, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strongly self-motivated and able to prioritize work effectively
  • Demonstrate passion for success to complete required tasks while maintaining a positive attitude

 

Desired Skills:

  • Expertise in Salesforce CRMA is a plus.
  • Additional Salesforce Certifications a plus.

The range for this position is  $74,625.00 - $102,610.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
