The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.
Role Purpose
We are looking for Sr. HR IT Specialist to support and optimize our core HR IT processes, including mass data loads, data corrections, and SAP ESM workflows. This role will also focus on leveraging AI tools and techniques to improve operational efficiency and automate repetitive tasks. The ideal candidate will work closely with a senior resource during the initial months to gain comprehensive expertise in HR IT operations and assume responsibilities as the primary support resource. In addition to ensuring operational continuity, the candidate will play a key role in SAP ESM product DevOps and apply AI-driven solutions to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and contribute to strategic HR initiatives that enhance organizational efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
· Mass loads and Data corrections to employee data while ensuring accuracy and adherence to organizational standards.
· Support Successfactors Release testing and Upgrades.
· Troubleshooting and provide Tier 1/2/3 HRIS support.
· Configure, optimize, and troubleshooting workflows within SAP Enterprise Service Management (ESM).
· Identifying process improvement and workflow optimization opportunities and leveraging AI to automate repetitive processes
· Shadow and collaborate with the senior resource(s) to gain expertise in HR IT operations and transition into the primary support role for HR IT processes, ensuring seamless continuity.
· Document processes and build knowledge for long-term ownership
· Work with HR, IT, and cross-functional teams located globally.
· Preferred experience enhancing ESM processes and improve user experience.
Experiences/Education - Required
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, HR Technology, or a related field.
· 3–5+ years SAP SuccessFactors HRIS experience.
· Strong knowledge of data management processes (e.g., mass data loads, data corrections).
· Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors and SAP BTP
· Ability to document workflows and processes for knowledge transfer.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
· Detail-oriented, analytical, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Experiences/Education - Desired
- Familiarity with AI tools and concepts.
- Knowledge of OData APIs for SAP integrations.
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools like SAP Build Process Automation and/or Power Automate.

The range for this position is $92,830.00 - $127,641.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
