Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the maintenance team in troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing solar manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance equipment lifespan.
  • Assist in the installation, commissioning, and qualification of new production equipment.
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve process efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of equipment repairs, maintenance schedules, and performance logs.
  • Identify spare parts requirements and coordinate with procurement for timely availability.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and efficiency.
  • Responsibilities - Complete end of shift reports and other equipment documentation as required

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in solar or semiconductor industries.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation systems.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting, robotics, and automated manufacturing systems is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts if required.

 

 

Work Environment:

 

  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to high-tech machinery.
  • Requires standing, walking, lifting, and working in confined spaces or elevated areas.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

 


The range for this position is ​$35.00 hourly rate - $38.00 hourly rate.  Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
