Role Purpose

The Packaging Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day packaging operations for the solar module manufacturing line. The Packaging Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of solar modules while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. This role involves supervising a team of packaging staff, monitoring packaging processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the packaging team to achieve daily production targets.
  • Assign tasks and monitor team performance to ensure packaging operations run smoothly.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on packaging techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and oversee the daily packaging activities to ensure compliance with production schedules and customer specifications.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., production, quality control, logistics) to ensure seamless integration of packaging activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve packaging efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing company safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage packaging materials inventory to ensure availability and minimize waste.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain team to forecast and requisition packaging materials as required.

Experiences/Education

  • Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience. Supervisory experience highly preferred.

Required Skills

  • Outstanding problem solving using rigorous methods and tools.
  • Quality systems and process control techniques.

 

Desired Skills

  • Experience in solar module or wafer manufacturing 
  • Experience in glass manufacturing
  • Lean Management

  • International & multi-culture communication & coordination ability

The range for this position is $80,750.00 - $111,031.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
