Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Supervisor to oversee and manage the quality team for incoming quality and module reliability. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all production processes and outputs meet the highest quality standards while adhering to regulatory requirements and company objectives. This position requires strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to a team of Quality Coordinators and Specialists.
- Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture within the quality team.
- Oversee quality control checks and inspections on the production floor to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Monitor quality of incoming materials and module reliability to identify and address quality issues proactively.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality discrepancies.
- Align strategies with market price trends to minimize risks of obsolescence and overstocking
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, certifications, and regulations (e.g., ISO, OSHA, environmental standards).
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality assessments, audits, and compliance reports.
- Act as a liaison with internal and external auditors during quality inspections.
- Regularly report quality metrics, issues, and progress to senior management.
- Serve as a point of contact for quality-related concerns from the production team.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align quality objectives with production goals.
Experiences/Education - Required
- Post High School accreditation Bachelor’s degree (Preferred) in engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-3+ years of experience in a quality assurance/control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment (solar manufacturing experience is a plus).
- Proven experience managing teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with the daily workflow of the quality department
- International & multi-culture communication & coordination ability
- Strong ownership of achieving plant goals
- Creative and with strong continuous improvement work
- Excellent presentation and reporting skill
- Ability to change the thinking of others to establish long-term behaviors, norms, culture
Experiences/Education - Desired
- Experience working in the solar energy industry, particularly with solar modules or photovoltaic systems.
- Familiarity with solar module manufacturing processes, performance testing, and quality standards.
- Knowledge of U.S. energy regulations and compliance requirements for solar technologies.
- Certifications in solar energy technologies or project management (e.g., NABCEP, PMP).

The range for this position is $63,086.00 - $86,743.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
