Reporting to the Engineering Director the Senior Electrical Engineer will be in charge of the electrical engineering team. Design, develop, upgrade, test, and monitor electrical/electronic components and machinery. Supervise electrical/electronic engineers, generate detailed drawings, and compile reports.

Main responsibilities:

• Design the electrical and electronic part of plant equipment and instruments (MV, LV distribution, PLC, robotics, microelectronics, electronics, vision systems, CCTV).

• Issue the technical specifications and prepares requests for offers

• Organize the installation activities and checks their progress and implementation according to the project

• Support maintenance in diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs and restoring systems or tools

• Keep the technical documentation updated

• Actively participate in continuous improvement projects

• Ensure a safe, positive work environment.

Must have:

• Degree in electrical engineering

• Fluent in English and Italian

• Previous and significant experience in similar positions in manufacturing companies

• Design capabilities

• Experience in managing work groups

• Leadership skills

• Safety oriented

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of robotics, microelectronics, electronics, vision systems, CCTV

• Knowledge of products, materials and main market players

• Knowledge of standards, directives and regulation

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Excellent motivational skills and multitasking abilities
