The Plant Controller / Entity Finance Manager is a key business partner in the entity’s organization. Duties include but are not limited to following tasks:

 

Month End Closing / Reporting:

 

• Lead month-end close process under SAP, in coordination with Shared Services center in Budapest.

• Supervise Payroll accounting in connexion with External Payroll Provider

• Ensure adherence to US and local Gaap and compliance to Corning SOX Framework

• Lead Budget and 5-year plan process in close relationship with Regional Manufacturing Controller Business Partnership

• Provide Timely and Accurate information and drive corrective action plans.

• Drive Manufacturing Site performance and ensure Financial Targets are met

• Active participation to Investment plans and Calculation of Investment Payback to support Inv Requests Statutory and Tax Compliance

• In collaboration with France Tax Team and Regional Entity Finance Controller, manage Tax returns: collect information, prepare documentation, and support submission of company tax returns on time

• Responsible for statutory audits, corporate tax audits as well as other tax inspections

• Deferred tax calculations (USGAAP)

• Transfer pricing documentation maintenance

• Interact with external auditors and deliver financial information to local Employee Representatives

• Board of directors’ involvement

 

Skills and Qualifications:

 

• Strong financial accounting skills required.

• Leadership / ability to actively manage 1 assistant and to Influence Plant Management Team.

• IT skills: Excel and ERP (ideally SAP) knowledge are needed.

• Fluent English is a requirement, both written and spoken

• Sarbanes-Oxley or another internal control environment knowledge strongly recommended

• Business Partner mindset to cover Sales, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Activities

• Ability to manage flexible workload and travel internationally (no frequent travel expected) Required Years of Experience

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in financial accounting.

• Master degree in: Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
