Regional Product Line Specialist Closures EMEA/APAC (m/f)

The Regional Product Manager supports the execution of the 1-y-plan for closures (Fiber optic & copper portfolio) in the region. He/She assists in the development and leads in local execution of the product line strategies that support the achievement of sales growth and profitability in the region. He/She is based ideally in Pontchateau but within the Europe is as well accepted with a 50% travel availability. French speaking at least as a secondary language is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Product Line Managers of closures, cable and hardened connectivity, to support the closure growth in the region
  • Establish a strong link within the plant with Market development, technology, Product engineering, Manufacturing and supply chain and drive crossfunctional teamwork
  • Provide product line business leadership in the plant:
  • Develops market insight through strategic assessments of the Market, Customer, Competitors, and CCS Capabilities
  • Builds effective vision, strategy, critical projects, roadmaps, and plans (1 and 5 year) for profitable growth of the solution (cable – closure – hardened connectivity) in the region
  • Drives action throughout the organization
  • Assists in the development and implementation of an IP and standards strategy
  • Leads priorities and constraints
  • Ensure alignment between PLM & commercial strategies and execution plans
  • Establish & execute global product line management processes
  • Develops and communicates product long-term forecasts to global or regional PLM
  • Works with GPO & Global PLM Director to Establish Product pricing strategies and runs requests below strategy for region
  • Assists in handling the regional P&L, driving the global product teams to support the regional product requirements and profitability goals
  • Runs the day to day operations, including providing insight to Technology development teams and the EMEA / APAC Forecasting Organization
  • Support Commercial teams, including travel to visit customers on key opportunities as needed

 

Required:

  • Consistent record of running projects and leading multi-functional teams
  • Work experience in a Commercial / PLM function
  • Available to work preferably in Pontchateau (France) or Europe with a 50% travel availability
  • French speaking either native or as second / third language
  • Bachelor’s Degree – General
  • MBA or equivalent proven experience (i.e., extensive experience in business)

 

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent proven experience
  • Financial analysis and accounting experience
  • Work experience in Manufacturing, Development and/or Strategy group
  • International business work experience
  • Participation in, or leadership of, multicultural and/or multi-geographic projects
