Corning’s Environmental Technologies segment manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Provide services for external customers and help to achieve the business goals.
- Work closely with CET plants and fulfill customers’ orders in timely and accurate manners.
- Respond promptly to customers or potential customers’ inquiries regarding products information, samples, pricing and deliveries … etc., Help to obtain orders.
- Prepare product samples to coaters on behalf of Account Managers or Account Engineers
- Protect Corning financial health by following up overdue account receivables.
- Handle customers’ concerns and complaints on product quality, shipment & documentations. Escalate to the right level if it is needed and make sure the issues are closed.
- Maintain accurate and updated price list in commercial share drive.
- Make or distribute the quotation to customers per account manager’s instruction
- Attend plant new product meeting, maintain new products in system and master file promptly and correctly.
- Maintain and update important commercial records/firm orders and processes to ensure operational transparency
- Forecast, order and keep proper inventory for trading parts
- Follow up & consolidate commercial reports
- Manage commercial tools
- Maintain customers database
- Support other colleague during special occasions, such as annual leave, sick leave or seminars/trade shows.
Requirements: Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, English, Marketing, Logistics or other equivalent area;
- 2+ years in customer service function
- Multi-national company experience is preferred
Requirements: Required Skills
- Good computer skills in MS Office applications;
- Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English
- Good coordination/communication skills;
- Organized and attentive to details;
- Knowledge in car industry is preferred
