Corning’s Environmental Technologies segment manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world.

Key Responsibilities

•    Production specification system management - converts customer specification into production specification and assures most current specifications are approved and available for production.
•    Product inspection processes - maintain, improve and administer the product inspection processes for product visual and dimensional related attributes including inspection procedures, accept and reject criteria
•    Provide quality support to manufacturing operation and ensure key quality metrics defined are met. Provide training and certification of operators and technicians in process control and defect detection
•    Actively involved in new production introduction and prepare PPAP documents per customer requirement to support new product lunch or source change. 
•    Non-conforming material handling
•    Continuous improvement projects

Experiences/Education - Required

•    BS or above degree. Major in Materials, Chemical , Mechanical or equivalent engineering is preferred 
•    Certified Quality Engineer, IATF16949 or VDA6.3 internal auditor is preferred 
•    3+ years working experience in manufacturing industry, multi – national companies and Quality/Process working experience preferred                                          
•    Technical Knowledge & Skill - IATF16949 and its Technical Manuals (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA) or other applicable tools.
•    Planning & Organizing - Strong planning / organizing skills and follow through.
•    Good Analysis and problem solving skills – logical thinking, big picture and attention to details
•    Personality – Maturity, Self-motivation, Criticism and Confidence. 
•    Teamwork
•    Fluent English both oral and written
