Job Title: D&IT Solutions Architect, SAP SuccessFactors Integrations
Location: Pune, India
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of integrations between SAP SuccessFactors and other enterprise systems. This role will be responsible for defining scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions that connect HR data and processes across platforms such as payroll, identity and access management, finance, benefits, and other internal and third-party systems.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in SuccessFactors integration architecture, a solid understanding of HR data and processes, and the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end integration solutions between SAP SuccessFactors and enterprise applications
- Define integration patterns, interface specifications, data mappings, transformation logic, and error-handling approaches
- Partner with HR, IT, security, vendors, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical designs
- Architect integrations involving Employee Central and related SuccessFactors modules, as well as downstream payroll, identity, finance, and vendor systems
- Evaluate and recommend integration methods including APIs, middleware, file-based interfaces, and event-driven approaches
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and interface specifications
- Ensure solutions meet standards for security, privacy, compliance, scalability, performance, and supportability
- Guide development teams during implementation and help resolve complex integration issues
- Support testing, deployment planning, cutover, and post-production validation
- Drive standardization and reuse of integration patterns across the HR technology landscape
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, integration architecture, or enterprise systems
- Experience designing integrations for SAP SuccessFactors
- Strong knowledge of SuccessFactors integration methods and tools, such as:
- OData APIs
- SFAPI
- Compound Employee API
- Integration Center
- SAP Integration Suite / CPI
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP/file-based interfaces, XML/JSON/CSV, and data transformation
- Experience integrating HR systems with payroll, identity management, ERP, finance, benefits, or other enterprise platforms
- Strong understanding of security, privacy, and governance requirements for sensitive employee data
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI
- Familiarity with payroll integrations and HR vendor ecosystems
- Experience with identity lifecycle integrations involving Okta, Entra ID, or Active Directory
- Knowledge of compliance and privacy regulations affecting employee data
- Experience supporting global HR integrations across multiple regions and vendors
