Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

  1. Major responsibilities.


    1. Mechanical design
    2. Create and develop concepts of new products.
    3. Create and develop fixtures for manufacturing purposes.
    4. Create cable renderings
    5. Create documentation necessary for products or/and  fixtures release: Drawings, Artworks for labeling or stamping methods.
    6. Modification of technical documentation, in particular 3D models and engineering drawings.
    7. Generation and evaluation of prototypes.
    8. Internal customers support such as: Reynosa Campus Operations and Engineering, R&D, Product Line Management, Product and Divisional Engineering in CAD/Design matters.



      3. Qualifications   


  1.  Education level.
  •  Technical degree of engineering school in Mechatronic, Mechanical or Electromechanical (Preferred).        

B. Technical Skills.

  • 5 years on Technical position
  • Knowledge in CAD Software: AutoCAD, Solidworks or/and Creo Parametric.
  • Knowledge in Adobe Illustrator software (optional)
  • Able to read/understand engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge in Pro-Cable software (optional)
  • GD&T and tolerance analysis  basic knowledge
