Role Purpose

As a Cost Modeling Engineer, you will support engineering and business teams by developing cost models, evaluating manufacturing scenarios, and contributing to projects that improve technical and financial performance. This role combines engineering knowledge, project coordination, and analytical problem-solving to help deliver cost-effective solutions in a global manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support cost models for manufacturing processes, equipment changes, relocations, and technical projects
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, schedules, and cost estimates
  • Provide technical input and project coordination to help ensure successful execution of engineering initiatives
  • Identify improvement opportunities, solve complex problems, and share knowledge to support continuous improvement and safe work practices.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree
  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, cost analysis, or technical project leadership
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering fundamentals
  • Ability to lead or influence cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Experience developing estimates, project plans, or cost models for technical initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with knowledge of quality and project management tools
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in a multicultural and global environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
