Role Purpose

As a Cost Modeling Engineer, you will help shape investment and manufacturing decisions by developing cost models, supporting technical projects, and partnering with cross-functional teams across a global environment. This role combines engineering knowledge, project coordination, and analytical problem-solving to deliver solutions that are both technically sound and economically effective. You will play an important part in improving processes, guiding project activities, and influencing outcomes through collaboration and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support cost models, project plans, and technical evaluations to help drive informed business and manufacturing decisions
  • Partner with internal customers and cross-functional teams to define requirements, scope, timelines, and success criteria for assigned projects
  • Provide technical leadership and contribute to project execution, updates, issue tracking, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Support engineering and operational teams by solving complex problems, sharing knowledge, and promoting safe and effective work practices 

Experiences/Education - Required

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • Experience leading or supporting technical projects in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate technical and economic impacts
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrixed organizations
  • Experience building project plans, defining scope, and tracking schedule and cost performance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across different levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with project scheduling tools is a plus
