Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
Purpose of Position.
Specialized role within DMO team that handles advanced functions that have more critical impact to the business.
Major responsibilities and tasks of the position.
- Maintain master data/ BOMs/ Routings in SAP or/ and other defined systems.
- Run mass maintenance updates in SAP.
- Responsible for timely processing of all daily requests for new part numbers according to request priorities and established goals and targets
- Responsible for monitoring and resolving all Clarify cases related to RY DMO functions.
- Monitor data quality of master data, participate in continuous improvements processes.
- Audit data for consistency and adherence to policy.
- Work with all levels of product line management, manufacturing engineering, customer care, planning, finance, procurement, logistics and customs.
- Responsible for cross training activities of other DMO team members
- Participate in developing training documentation for the data stewardship group and work with customers to ensure adherence to the defined processes.
- Challenge status quo related to data management, provide inputs on best practices to related functions.
Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements.
- University degree required.
- 0-3 years of demonstrated analysis experience (university or business)
Competencies
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to troubleshoot issues associated with data discrepancies in the SAP system.
- Able to analyze complex data and draw conclusions accordingly to identify gaps and make decisions.
- Proficiency with specific tools or software (e.g., SAP, Excel, etc.)
- Able to communicate effectively in spoken and written form in business environment.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

US Salaried:
The range for this position is $19,919.00 - $27,388.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
US Union Free Hourly:
The range for this position is $19,919.00 hourly rate - $24,898.00 hourly rate. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
US Union Hourly:
The starting pay for this position is $19,919.00 hourly rate. Compensation and benefits available for this position are dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
US Intern:
The range for this position is $19,919.00 - $27,388.00 biweekly. Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
