Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Financial Analyst

Key role is to ensure the Company   receives payments for Goods; Records Transactions accordingly, secure revenue by verifying and postings receipts, and resolve any discrepancies. Act as a liaison between customers and companies, assists with complaints, orders, errors, account questions, billing, cancelations and other queries.

 

           Electronic accounting Specialits, uptaded in Tax Matters, E accounting,

  • Main Focus on E Accounting Billing 
  • Play a key role on AR recovery project
  •   Performing account reconciliations : Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted,  SAP & Black Line knowledge is a Plus
  • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries:  Verify the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, Shipping, customer service department and customers
  • Generate monthly, quarterly or annual  reports detailing paid and unpaid invoices and other accounts receivable activity
  • Assisting in general financial management and analysis, Month end close, Audit & Internal control.
  • Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential (Adapt and comply to the Corning policies and procedures)

Qualification requirements

Bachelor Degree in accounting or equivalent 

3+ years’ work experience in Finance, Accounts receivable, Electronic accounting,   

Knowledge of general accounting principles,   Electronic accounting compliance requirements

Ability to calculate post and manage accounting figures and financial records

Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs

High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality

Excellent data entry skills

Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills

Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills (English is a must)

Effective organizational, stress and time management skills

Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines

Ability to work independently or as a team member

Ability to work with a diverse group of people

Customer service and negotiation skills
