Food Service Specialist

 

This is a strategic position designed to be the contact between the food service suppliers and Corning. Working closely with GSM, Plant food service representative, Reynosa medical staff, HR, and Corporate Food Services. This position monitors the programs and processes for the campus food services, not the day to day café operations.

Duties to include but not limited to:

•             Interacts with Client Management and maintains effective client and customer relations at all levels of client organization for the Reynosa Campus Food Services

•             Contract compliance

•             Monitor corporate food safety program and conduct audits

•             Monitor corporate CN program and conduct audits

•             Work place safety audits

•             Monitor facility/equipment sanitation

•             Menu review/approval

•             Monitor and support equipment repair and maintenance (PM)

•             Cafeteria Committee meetings

•             Lead projects for cost savings and process improvement

•             Monitors customer satisfaction surveys

•             Send the menu to the plants

•             Complete the billing process

•             Count and classification of Cost Center of EE's registered

•             Review of Special Services

•             Payment tracking of cafeteria vendor

•             Meetings and follow up of cases with maintenance

•             Follow up suggestions and complains

•             Follow up IT Reports

•             Follow up on audit from medical department

•             Follow up for Kitchen audit (Equipment & Utensils)

•             Time and service audit

•             Special Events (Goal sharing, Mother’s day, etc.)

•             Talks about cafeteria services to new EE's
