Role Purpose

Serves as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to Supply Chain business leaders, aligning HR strategies with organizational goals to drive performance, engagement, and growth. This role is responsible for delivering proactive solutions in areas such as talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, labor relations, and organizational development. By leveraging data-driven insights and fostering collaboration across teams, the HRBP plays a critical role in shaping a positive workplace culture that supports Corning’s mission of innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with supply chain leadership teams to understand operational goals; provide customized HR solutions that enhance productivity at both functional and site levels.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving employee relations issues within supply chain functions and warehouse operations.
  • Lead HR efforts around attract, develop, and retain top talent for supply chain.
  • Analyze staffing needs across the supply chain function to ensure optimal resource allocation; recommend organizational structures that improve workflow efficiency while meeting long-term business demands.
  • Develop programs aimed at improving morale among frontline employees in logistics operations; champion diversity & inclusion initiatives tailored to meet unique challenges faced by hourly workers and managers alike.
  • Leverage analytics tools to monitor metrics like turnover rates or absenteeism trends within warehousing teams; use insights from data analysis to inform decisions on retention strategies or process improvements.
  • Manage talent management processes and collaborate with clients to ensure we have the right talent.
  • Land HR local/regional/global projects at a plant and regional level.
  • Provides labor relations guidelines to logistics operations leaders.

 

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or Labor Relations or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • At least +2 years of HR and/or labor relations experience (generalist/specialist combined.)
  • Proficient in verbal and written English language skills.

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Experience supporting multiple client groups and/or supporting matrix organizations.
  • Experience facilitating training sessions.
  • Proven experience managing E2E cycle for salaried employees.
  • Experience collaborating with supply chain functions / logistics operations is desired.
  • Experience developing talent programs and/or deploying of talent initiatives (talent acquisition, development, skills/capabilities gap analysis, among others.) at a plant/regional level.
  • Track record of HR processes/programs deployment at a plant level.
