Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

 

Role Purpose: Performs a variety of key technical duties and activities. Leads projects to improve overall process and technical efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Write or update documentation for APIs, internal tools, or processes
  • Participate in code reviews to understand coding standards and practices
  • Support with software validations and documentation for measurement applications
  • Adapt and improve Data Sources for Data Analysts

 

Experiences/Education - Required

 

Active student of the following careers:

  • Mechatronics Engineering
  • IT Engineering 
  • Software Development

 

Desired Skills

 

  • Knowledge in SQL and databases (SQL Server as preference)

  • Knowledge in Structured and OOP paradigms.

  • Basic knowledge in Python and DA Python libraries such as Pandas, Mathplotlib, Keras, TensorFlow among others.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate or similar automation tools
