IT Technician

  • PURPOSE OF POSITION:
    • Person on charge will be responsible to provide IT support services in the organization on a timely manner responding to ticket cases submitted by users this could be in person or over the phone, his responsibilities will include support to Windows 7 and 10 operating systems, network diagnostics, equipment installation/interconnection, support and diagnose of different printer models.

       

  • ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
    • Windows 10 and 7 Operating system diagnostics
    • Troubleshoot network issues on computer systems
    • Knowledge to interconnect switches, routers, servers, UPS
    • Wireless network diagnostics
    • Active Directory knowledge
    • Printing problem troubleshoot
    • Software and hardware installation
    • Help users to use software, hardware in case needed
    • Physical support to servers, backup hardware, UPS, Switches, Routers
    • Inventory manage, Add, modify equipment ordering
    • Phone troubleshoot
    • Cellphone support
    • Create reports or notifications from Activities completed/Status
    • Comply with process and procedures from It department and company
    • Support to IT projects
    • Availability to work overtime or provide support out of normal hours or weekends in case needed

 

  • EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
    • BS in IT engineer

       

  • WORK EXPERIENCE
    • 6 Months Minimum Experience in IT support Role

 

  • REQUIRED SKILLS
    • Knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems
    • Knowledge on Network issue diagnostics(Lan/Wan)/interconnect network equipment
    • Knowledge on network hardware
    • Effective leadership, organization, and planning skills, with ability to handle changing priorities
    • Excellent communications, interpersonal and influencing skills
    • Demonstrated track record of on time delivery within department priorities
    • Must be a self starter, able to work in team environment and motivate others

       

  • DESIRED SKILLS
    • Experience diagnosing hardware and software issues
    • Ability to diagnose network problems,(lan, Wan)
    • English, be able to communicate with other teams
    • Experience configuring and diagnosing Printer
    • Installing and interconnecting servers, UPS, Network equipment
    • Service attitude
    • Inventory management

       

       

  • Travel
    • Traveling could be required in the same city between locations
