ITRDP - Analyst

 

Scope of Position: The IT Rotational Development Program (ITRDP) is a three-year program in which candidates will gain experiences across multiple areas of Information Technology. Each candidate will complete three 1-year rotations as an IT Senior Analyst. The areas of rotation can include business engagement, infrastructure, applications, business operations and/or information security. Upon successful completion of the rotational program the candidate will be placed in a permanent role within IT.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus is based on job role. Day-to-day tasks may include conducting analysis, providing support, problem solving / troubleshooting, and/or service development.
  • Participate in operations activities to enable the management of IT services across the enterprise.
  • Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, and concepts and techniques.
  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • May take on moderate size projects or several components of a large project.
  • Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management Systems or Computer Engineering.
  • Previous work experience in an IT-based role

  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in English speaking, reading and writing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Team player with excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively present information to all levels of the organization.
  • Able to change and adjust smoothly as the situation demands.

 

Desired Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with creating and maintaining application and infrastructure services.
  • Project management skills.

 

Pay Grade: Grade B
