Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

This position will become part of a team focused on Transformational improvements across the Reynosa campus. This person will become a Transformational expert through on the job experience, mentorship, and internal / external training. This position will be a pathway position to other technical and / or leadership roles within the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a change agent to foster a culture of transformational step change throughout the organization and drive measurable process improvements across the Reynosa campusLeverage data to predict and identify opportunities
  • Effectively manage and lead critical business projects that are initiated by senior leadership.
  • Enhance process standardization through effective root cause analysis and the implementation of rigorous standards focused on improved efficiency, cost reduction, and waste elimination.
  • Effectively present data and analysis to stakeholders
  • Ensure CSC standards are maintained through effective project management and a controlled documentation program.
  • Manage confidential and proprietary information with discretion and sound judgment.

Experiences/Education - Required

 

  • BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
  • Fundamental understanding of Lean, Project management
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets; Advanced Excel, Power Bi
  • Bilingual
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in utilizing project management tools to support organizational objectives and operations.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a team environment
    • At least 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
    • Experience supporting and solving complex problems.
    • Demonstrated project management effectiveness with proven results
