Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

 

El propósito principal del Técnico Senior (SR) de Mantenimiento en el área de extrusión de cable es garantizar la máxima disponibilidad, confiabilidad y eficiencia operativa de las líneas y equipos asociados al proceso de extrusión. Esto se logra mediante la ejecución experta y proactiva del mantenimiento preventivo, correctivo y predictivo sobre maquinaria crítica , asegurando que los activos funcionen bajo condiciones óptimas para cumplir con los estándares productivos y normativos requeridos por la organización.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnóstico avanzado en sistemas electromecánicos/hidráulicos/neumáticos/electrónicos propios del proceso cableado.
  • Lectura e interpretación avanzada de planos eléctricos/mecánicos/esquemáticos PLCs/HMI/Sensores industriales.
  • Manejo seguro y eficiente de instrumentos especializados: multímetros, calibradores /alineadores/vernier/micrometro
  • Planificación detallada mantenimientos preventivos/correctivos/predictivos
  • Gestión solicitudes trabajo vía sistema CMMS
  • Control inventario refacciones consumibles críticos
  • Procedimientos seguros bloqueo-etiquetado (LOTO), permisos trabajo especial/caliente-altura-confined space
  • Análisis causa raíz post-falla significativa; reporte lecciones aprendidas/documentación estándar operación-mantenimiento WI actualizadas
  • Ejecutar mantenimientos preventivos asignados según plan establecido.
  • Atender fallas (mantenimientos correctivos) para restablecer operaciones rápidamente, solicitando apoyo cuando sea necesario.
  • Realizar inspecciones visuales periódicas para identificar condiciones anómalas o potenciales fallas sencillas.
  • Documentar reparaciones o intervenciones realizadas en sistemas electrónicos o físicos designados por el área a través de CMMS.
  • Participar activamente en cumplimiento de metas para Ikaizen y 5’s en las áreas de trabajo.
  • Cumplir con normativas internas relacionadas con seguridad industrial, medio ambiente y calidad.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Technical degree or bachelors degree in Mechanical, electronic
