What is your role?
As a Measurement Technician, you will provide technical support for the design, assembly, programming, validation, and improvement of automated or semi-automated measurement systems used in manufacturing. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver reliable and efficient process solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support or lead projects related to the design, assembly, programming, validation, and implementation of automated and semi-automated measurement systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electronic, and pneumatic equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and update technical documentation, including Bills of Materials and operational documentation for equipment and systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, error-proofing, process control, workplace organization, and safety enhancements.
Experiences/Education - Required
- Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in maintenance or engineering roles supporting test equipment or manufacturing processes.
- At least 1 year of experience developing manufacturing process solutions, including error-proofing and preventive actions.
- Hands-on knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks, Pro-Engineer, or CREO Parametric.
- Experience reading and working with electrical, electronic, and pneumatic diagrams and systems.
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming, structured text, or ladder logic.
- Basic English proficiency.
