Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

 

Purpose of Position.   

Given the size of MX organization and in an effort to keep an standardized approach on Talent actions, this role Designs and develop tools to facilitate Talent processes and provide consulting to HRMs and Business leaders.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Talent Review actions (preparation, calibrations, and follow up actions)
  • Leadership Programs nomination – which involved a Master inventory of Training completion for our ET, KE, Strategic Talent, critical roles incumbents and successors.
  • Manufacturing Funnel management (Strengthen Talent pool for critical roles)
  • Supporting talent actions for Emerging Talent & Knowledge expert designations
  • Developing and managing solutions to identify gaps and reinforce and enhance preparation of successors, ET’s Knowledge Experts, for example Assessment Center, Mentoring program
  • Managing Coaching programs with external consultants
  • Performance Management support and tracking on objectives stage and PDR completion

 

Education.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, or similar/related field like Psychology, Communications, Industrial Engineering, Administration.
  • Specialty in Organizational Development or Talent (preferred)

 

Work Experience

  • 3 years in similar role in other organizations
  • If internal, 3 years in roles that require same competencies as this role
