Role Purpose

The Product Line Associate (PLA) executes a strategy that supports the achievement of regional sales growth and profitability. Successful candidates are responsible for product portfolio value proposition, product positioning, as well as optimizing long-term profitability for the FR cable product line. The PLA also acts as a key interface between the Commercial, Technology, Manufacturing, Quality, and Production Planning organizations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Line Manager (PLM) and Product Team members to execute product life-cycle management strategy and develop both long- and short-term business strategies to maximize profitability and achieve growth. 

  • Work closely with global counterparts to drive product strategies and champion new product development and timely release through collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Value Creation, Technology, and Manufacturing Operations. 

  • Interpret market demand and provide forecast input for capacity planning. 

  • Assist in resolving product, quality, and service issues while balancing customer needs. 

  • Prepare and deliver presentations and product training for the portfolio under their responsibility. 

Required Qualifications

  • 3 Years+ Experience in product line management, engineering, operations, manufacturing, or commercial/marketing. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business. MBA preferred.
  • Ability to interface with Technology, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to lead and influence product characteristics.  
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurship with the ability to formulate visions/strategies and predict trends. 
  • Ability to plan, manage, execute multiple priorities, and perform under pressure. 
  • Possess strong analytical skills coupled with an understanding of financial statements. 
  • Possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and a bias to action. 
  • Demonstrate proactiveness and deliver results consistently in a timely manner. 
  • Fluent command of the English language and possess excellent presentation skills. 
  • Microsoft Suite – excel, word, PowerPoint

  • U.S. Visa – ability to travel to US 

  • Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization software 

  • Microsoft Copilot or another AI platform
