Quality Engineer

Purpose of Position.

Provide Quality Engineering expertise to establish processes and procedures to improve Quality Systems and Meet the Quality Objectives for the Plant. Maintain Quality Systems to meet ISO-9000 and TL-9000 Elements.

Major responsibilities and tasks of the position.

A. Develop Quality process , Root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement procedures

B. Analyze and resolve Quality problems, using statistical tool, data analysis , advanced Quality skills to ensure Conformance in the Products Manufactured in the Plant

C. Coordinate Quality Engineering Activities to support Production Areas, Design , Manufacturing & Training departments

D. Follow up Key Department Project to Achieve and Increase Quality Performance in the Plant

3. List the two most complex decisions indicative of this function and its impact to the function, department and/or corporation.

A. Implement Quality Systems to meet and exceed customer requirements

B. Organization and prioritization of different on going projects in the Quality Department

Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements.

Education.

• Bachelor Degree

Work Experience.

• More than 2 years of experience in Quality Department
• Quality Tools
• Measurements Systems

Extraordinary Activities.

A. Contribute and participate in Internal and External Audits in department, as well as being responsible for the good results of such.

Some examples of Audits are: ISO, TL, 5's, Safety, Sarbox, among others.
