Role Purpose

What is your role?
As a Security Supervisor, you will lead daily security operations at the site, ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and company assets. This role is responsible for supervising security personnel, supporting investigations, strengthening site security programs, and partnering closely with internal leaders and external agencies to mitigate risk and improve performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise on-site security officers, including performance oversight, training, and daily operational support
- Partner with site leadership and contract security providers to ensure effective security coverage and service delivery
- Implement security policies, procedures, and employee awareness initiatives to strengthen site security standards
- Support investigations, security assessments, and site projects while helping ensure compliance with security systems and programs
Experiences/Education - Required
- 3–5 years of experience in a security or leadership role
- Previous experience supervising teams or leading security operations
- Strong decision-making skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage confidential information with integrity
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide clear direction to others
- Positive attitude, strong initiative, and a results-oriented work ethic

Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
