Role Purpose

Are you passionate about driving operational excellence, optimizing manufacturing systems, and transforming complex processes into scalable solutions?

Join our team as a Senior Industrial Engineer and play a key role in improving manufacturing performance through process optimization, capacity planning, cost reduction, and manufacturing system design. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives that support operational excellence, automation, and long-term business growth.

What is your role?

As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product and information flow, defining capacity, reducing operational complexity, and supporting cost reduction initiatives through resource optimization.

You will also support manufacturing transformation efforts by designing, validating, and maintaining key manufacturing system structures, including routings, work centers, labor standards, BOM alignment, planning capacity, and cost structures within SAP/ERP/MES environments. Working cross-functionally, you will ensure manufacturing processes are accurately represented in business systems to support efficient, scalable, and automated operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead process optimization initiatives using Industrial Engineering tools such as time studies, workflow analysis, line balancing, capacity analysis, productivity improvement, and labor utilization studies.
  • Develop and maintain operational baselines including cycle time, takt time, MCT, TWC, throughput, WIP, capacity, utilization, productivity, labor requirements, and other key manufacturing assumptions.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives such as VSM, 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, Visual Management, waste reduction, flow improvement, and lead time reduction.
  • Define, validate, and maintain manufacturing routings, operation sequences, work centers, standard times, labor standards, machine times, setup times, queue times, move times, and routing parameters in SAP/ERP/MES for manual, semi-automated, and automated processes.
  • Support BOM, manufacturing BOM, product structure, process structure, PN structure, and system configuration alignment in coordination with Engineering, PLM, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, and Finance
  • Support manufacturing transformation and automation projects by defining system requirements related to routing logic, work centers, capacity, labor interaction points, material flow, production reporting, and process simulation inputs.
  • Assure manufacturing cost model accuracy and support cost roll-up execution, including validation of routing times, labor assumptions, machine rates, activity rates, overhead, cost per unit, and planning capacity in SAP/ERP.
  • Develop and monitor performance metrics, identify gaps between physical processes and system configuration, and lead corrective actions to improve data accuracy, planning, costing, execution readiness, and operational excellence while providing guidance to IE resources and cross-functional users.
