What is your role?
As a Senior Production Supervisor, you will lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure production is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established quality and process standards. This role is responsible for coordinating resources, guiding plant teams, and supporting operational goals related to delivery, uptime, throughput, and cost performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily production activities and coordinate resources to support schedule attainment, product changeovers, maintenance, training, and new product runs.
- Provide direction and support to operators, team leaders, technicians, and engineers to ensure compliance with operating procedures, process controls, and safety standards.
- Monitor and communicate production and process performance metrics to help ensure daily and weekly targets for quality, delivery, and operational efficiency are achieved.
- Support continuous improvement, cost reduction, training, and employee development efforts across the manufacturing operation.
Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field
- Experience as a frontline supervisor or team leader in a manufacturing or plant environment
- Proven ability to lead teams and hold employees accountable to established processes, standards, and performance goals
- Experience driving continuous improvement, cost reduction, or operational performance initiatives
- Strong understanding of process control, process discipline, and manufacturing systems
- Experience in people leadership, including performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and health standards in a manufacturing environment
- English proficiency
Experiences/Education - Desired
- Experience in a process engineering role with the ability to analyze and solve complex operational problems
- Exposure to new product introduction and ramp-up in a manufacturing setting
- Green Belt certification or experience with Lean, DMAIC, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Understanding of cost management and profitability in plant operations
