JOB TITLE:            Talent Development Specialist

Purpose of Position.    

Design / Develop/ Deploy Development programs to prepare talent required to address current and future challenges in Reynosa campus


Major responsibilities and tasks of the position.

This role provides support for the Reynosa Campus (5 locations); is responsible for

  • Designing, deployment and management  of different programs to develop competencies, experiences, knowledge and skills on identified talent in preparation for critical roles; ex. LDP
  • Developing and managing pipeline programs to strengthen talent pool such as DUX (MBA’s rotational)
  • Developing and managing solutions to identify gaps and reinforce and enhance preparation of successors, for example Assessment Center, Mentoring program
  • Managing Coaching programs with external consultants
  • Managing ILead@Corning - Leadership Development Programs from WD&L (Nominations, confirmations, follow up, special arrangements, etc.).
  • Facilitating Development courses such as Straight Talk
  • Designing, deployment and management of development programs for Talent to Watch, for example IDP
  • Delivering solutions as Talent Development Consultant like Team building, New Manager Assimilation, Cultural Navigator among others


The most complex decisions indicative of this function and its impact to the function, department and/or corporation.

  • Identifying the best solutions to close development gaps on successors and Key Talent
  • Decisions related to mentoring program such as Mentor’s pool, identification of mentees development needs and matching Mentee’s with Mentors

 Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements.

 A. Education. Bachelor’s degree in HR, or similar/related field like Psychology, Communications, Industrial Engineering, Administration.

 B. Work Experience. 2 years in Talent Programs like leadership development,  mentoring programs. Assessment center experience is  a plus

 C. Additional Skills. English is a must.
