Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Role Purpose
This role Designs and develop tools to facilitate Talent processes and provide consulting to HRMs and Business leaders
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting talent development actions for high potentials identified in 9BOX exercise:
- Orchestrating with HRMs all actions related to Succession planning, meaningful development experiences and Thrive conversations
- Designing and deploying workshop with HRMs and Managers on how to create Strong Development plans / What a meaningful development experience means?
- Thrive conversations follow up and alignment with employee engagement themes
- Supporting Talent Review actions (preparation, calibrations, and follow up)
- Leadership Programs nomination, which involves a Master inventory of Training completion for our high potentials, critical roles incumbents and successors.
- Manufacturing Funnel management (Strengthen Talent pool for critical roles):
- Development assessments design and completion (SHL, heatmaps, Assessment Centers etc…)
- Career aspiration interviews coordination with each successor of critical role.
- Development plans
- Developing and managing solutions to identify gaps and reinforce and enhance preparation of successors, Mentoring and Coaching programs
- Managing Coaching programs with external consultants
- Engineering pipeline actions:
- Career development workshops
- General development actions (based on gaps identified)
- Follow up with plants on development and providing opportunities based on disciplines/specialties
- Knowledge connect deployment and management
- Performance Management support and tracking on objectives stage and PDR completion
Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, or similar/related field like Psychology, Communications, Industrial Engineering, Administration.
- Specialty in Organizational Development or Talent (preferred)
Experiences/Education - Desired
- 3 years in similar role
- English conversational level
- Presentation skills
- Office Suite – Word, Excel, Power point
- Power Bi
