Role Purpose
 

The Tooling Technician provides excellent support to the Tooling area, repairing high tolerance molds, provide solutions to repair molds by himself, decision making.

Key responsibilities
 

• Corrective Mold Maintenance 
• High Tolerance Mold Repair 
• Mold Construction (Cavities, Cores, Inserts, etc.) 
• Mold preventive maintenance 
• EC Implementation 
• Mold Insert Change 
• New Mold Check list 
• Electrical and Hydraulic mold maintenance 
• Electrical and Hydraulic mold repair  
• Handling of precision tools
   

Experience / Education Required
 

• Associates Degree in technical field or strong Math/Science background and experiences
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Reads blueprints and/or drawings
• Other technician and/or operator roles that lead to a better understanding of the equipment and processes
