Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose: Liaison between RY manufacturing and VC developers to coordinate and communicate effectively the requirements of VC enhancements and testing process of all VC models for NAFTA manufacturing locations.

Key Responsibilities: Works very closely and provides a leadership role for coordinating data, recommending solutions for enablement and execution with Variant Configuration team (VC), Engineers, Planners, Forecasting, FICO controllers, DMO and Plant Management. Coordinates all aspects of manufacturing requirements of VC enhancement request for costing and process improvements with VC developers efficiently and effectively. Coordinates validation process with engineering & VC developers. Learn VC development of SAP ECC Super BOM & Super Routing in order to better understand how to effectively support VC team, DMO & engineers.  Create/Update/Modify existing process documentation, BOM files, Routing files in SharePoint;  Be the primary point-of-contact for RY manufacturing & all other critical functional teams to support VC development;  Coordinate meetings, data, & resources for projects/enhancements in RY;  Support testing & validations of enhancements to create production orders and download BOM/Routing data for engineering resource validations in RY;  Create/Update SN Tasks, Incidents, and ECM's for VC changes & implementation cleanup of master data as needed in RY;  ALE any new materials, Work Centers, etc. as required for enhancements to BOM/Routing files in RY;  Support VC development of new/existing VC models for RY as needed;  Ensure proper updates & testing for VC development regarding allocations, labels, and shop floor paper details, understanding how each of these work with regards to VC.

 Experiences/Education – Required  4+ years SAP Material Master experience or equivalent SAP experience  Fluent in English & Spanish, both oral and written;  Advanced Microsoft Excel & Office skills;  Manufacturing process knowledge;  Sharepoint Online knowledge; Experiences/Education – Desired  4-year College Degree  Knowledge of Hybris & SSC modeling;  Experience with Eclipse software;  Experience with Variant Configuration modeling;  Experience with Winshuttle;  Experience with Windchill;  Project Management;  Problem solving skills; Pay Grade: A Work with DMO, support DMO, work with pricing organization, product pricing, costumer operation, we are considere an SPA developers, data analysis, logical rules in SAP this moduls are configurate, the product we manufacture can be configurable with numbers, bale specific configuration with our VC models, a million different part the one we covered that de DMO need to be orderable, also with engineer to get the information of this products. This coordinator is an active now are two one in Reynosa and 2 un EEUU and the leader in EEUU, locations we need support from engineers of new projects, and new testing, working with the staff in Mexico, and communicate those need with team there, English skills as well. Reynosa, majority of the time RY1, require to travel to other plants, maybe but not often. Direct to Stephanie There are two others in Reynosa and working with them. Inteno major, DMO; Tatiana is maybe a good option. Multitask, advanced excel skills: analyzing data, formulas, communication skills, taking information someone that talk in an engineering knowledge.
