Corning is looking for an experienced sales professional to work with blue-chip companies based predominantly in London. This role will require some travel to customer sites throughout the UK.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with strategic accounts to position Corning as a leading technology partner by creating strong strategic relationships within a given target account list.
  • Understand customer requirements, business environment and their strategic business goals and communicate the benefits of Corning solutions as part of a longer-term partner approach.
  • Create and manage a generation demand pipeline aimed at targeted accounts.
  • Experience in project management may be beneficial to support the efforts of engaging with customers in some of the following areas: strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • B2B experience 
  • Proven track record in sales / account management / business development
  • Experience of using a CRM would be beneficial
  • Must be able to work effectively from a home office base and be able to travel 70% of the time.
