CSS Brazil COE Manager
The CSS Brazil COE Manager will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership to the CSS Brazil team, interfacing with Business customers, and driving the CSS tools, metrics, and continuous improvement throughout Operations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day operations management to ensure processes are delivered in a controlled manner for the services in scope of the team
- Support the execution of optimization and operationalization activities
- Deploys the CSS culture and process rigor including focus on controls, standards, SOPs, RCMs, and quality
- Identifies in cooperation with the respective local team opportunities for process and continuous improvement to deliver measurable process efficiencies and effectiveness
- Collaborates with Global Ops to leverage operation’s best practices for the newly integrated processes
- Works with the regional CRMs on customer engagement area
- Develops core metrics for Legacy Services, including:
- Process Health
- Audit Ratings / Improved controls
- Process Improvements / effectiveness
- Transactions per FTE / incremental absorption
- Ensures that tasks are delivered as per the requirements of SLA (Service Level Agreement) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), and Corning policies
- Communicates with Entity (Customer) Managers to address questions and issues
- Interacts with other Departments such as Procurement, Treasury, HR and Receiving to resolve issues
- Prepares ad-hoc and regular analysis as requested by Deputy Ops Manager (NA) and Entity (Customer) Management
- Conducts regular meetings with Entities (Customer)
Travel Requirements: <10% domestic/international travel possible; depending on business need
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- CA or any other equivalent degree
- knowledge of finance / accounting processes
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple groups globally and in a cross-functional team setting
Required Skills:
- Ability to grow a team and develop individuals
- Problem solving, analytical skills, exceptional follow through
- Initiative and effectively manages self and team through a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interface at all levels within the organization and install confidence and trust
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and/or Project
- Process improvement experience
- Ability to prioritize work to meet deliverables/timelines in an effective manner
Desired Skills:
- Strong organization skills, process rigor, attention to detail, responsive
- Understanding of Shared Services/Finance Organization
- Process improvement experience / Green Belt certificate
