Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead efforts to actively manage account relationship and execute overall division and commercial strategies
    • Develop and maintain multi-level and multi-function customer relations
    • Develop/publish customer profile and analysis
    • Organize/manage regional and corporate reviews of accounts
    • Clearly and effectively communicate strategy and activities to customer
    • Develop actionable and measurable satisfaction improvement plans

 

  • Develop detailed account/sales plans for each assigned customers/fabs
    • Develop account strategy and analysis
    • Achieve account sales objectives
    • Identify opportunities and risks
    • Actively manage complexity at assigned accounts

 

 

  • Support senior account manager to manage all aspects of sales operations / order management process at assigned accounts
  • Understand customer requirements - Identify, assess and prioritize opportunities
  • Execute the account plan in alignment w/product plan 
  • Provide/submit accurate short-term forecast/5 years plan/capacity plan to relevant team in Division
  • Work with Business Ops/CS/SC to ensure satisfactory payment/PO/shipment performance
  • Collect/synthesize customer and market and intelligence information.  Establish effective internal communication

 

  • Support AE to expand Corning’s product offering at account(s)
    • Understand customer’s current & future products demands and developments. 

 

  • Work with AE to deliver value proposition and provide feedback to PLM
  • Coordinate periodic technology exchanges and plan product migration at the customer
  • Communicate roadmaps and manufacturing capacity plans to the customer

 

  • Resolve customer issues and facilitate responsiveness
    • Respond to customer complains in timely manner
    • Organize/Lead internal resources to resolve customer issues effectively
    • Track action list of issue resolution
    • Continually look for ways to increase customer satisfaction.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Undergraduate degree or above, prefer majoring in IT, Engineering, Material Science or Business, technical degree preferred; MBA a plus
  • 5~8 years of sales o/a customer management experience, IT, Semiconductor, Hi-tech or LCD industry desired
  • Managed significant sales responsibilities.
  • Experience of working in international company preferred.
