Commercial Process Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Document current local commercial processes, compare them with Corning’s standard processes, identify gaps, and help drive those gaps to resolution. 
• The role works closely with local users, global subject matter experts, and IT to design future-state commercial processes across all relevant commercial areas. 
• In addition to project work, the position acts as the regional Power User for Order-to Cash, supporting local users and helping ensure smooth data flow and system usage. 
• The role supports the business in identifying, prioritizing, and managing system enhancements, while also proactively managing project issues, systemic problems, and risks. 
• This is an individual-contributor role with leadership through expertise, coaching, influence, and cross-functional collaboration rather than direct people management. 

Education&Experience

• At least 3 years of commercial experience, 
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field 
• Strong experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or S/4HANA, especially in Order-to-Cash 
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and business-level or fluent English are required 
• Strong project management, communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, process improvement, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
