Corning Inc. is searching for a controls scientist/engineer who believes that application of cutting-edge controls technology can improve manufacturing processes to provide competitive advantage. This is an opportunity to have significant impact by improving manufacturing process controls, conducting statistical data analytics to improve process understanding, and provide optimization solutions for manufacturing and supply chain operations. The position of Control Systems Engineer is considered the one of the most versatile technical roles within Corning, Inc., as the scope of this position can be very broad in order to provide controls solutions that will enable novel process and manufacturing methods. The field of process control is evolving rapidly into large complex multi-input, multi-output systems requiring modern controls, data analytics and modeling.
