Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • "Order-to-cash” process design and execution
  • Clearly understand customer and Corning's commercial business process. Precise execution of order-to-cash flow with capability to timely address issue and generate creative ideas with business value.
  • Customer Engagement 
  • The ability to develop deep customer relationship and earn trusts from customers. Understanding their current and emerging needs, and jointly create new collaboration or business opportunities with account manager or application engineer.
  • Data analysis
  • Act as account team's information hub. Summarize sources of intelligence (external and internal) to create valuable data sets and visuals that can be utilized for business performance review and strategy formulation.

 

Education & Experience  
Education

  • Bachelor in international trade, economics, semiconductor, electronics, chemistry, material sciences or glass science, optics, physics.

Experience

  • 5-8 years of working experience in Electronics, Semi-conductor, Display industry is preferred; Work experience in a role requiring extensive quantitative analysis, data interpretation and mechanical or optic experience is required; Account Management experience is desired; B2B technical sales experience or work experience in a global company is plus.


Required Skills                                                
Knowledge

  • Sound knowledge of LCD/OLED display industry or semiconductor industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of international trade and order management. 
  • Experience with Asian, especially the Chinese business culture.

Skills 

  • The ability to communicate clearly and simply across multiple, global audiences and with various communication methods. 
  • Strong oral and written English capability. 
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers, and other industry leaders and represent Corning. 
  • Strong hands-on trouble shooting, problem solving skill.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office package. Including (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database management)
