Role Purpose

The Data Analysis Specialist will support the CLS by transforming fragmented data into accurate, reliable, and actionable insights. This role is responsible for building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, automating data processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making across KA Sales, Channel, and Operations teams.

The position plays a key role in improving data accuracy, standardizing data sources, reducing manual work, and supporting operational efficiency in China CLS.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting
•Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business performance tracking (revenue, margin, customer, product, dealer, inventory, rebate, etc.).
•Translate business requirements into analytical models, KPIs, and visualizations.
•Perform ad-hoc data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.

Data Modeling & Transformation
•Build and optimize data models using Power BI, Power Query, and DAX.
•Integrate data from multiple sources (Excel, SharePoint, Outlook attachments, databases, etc.) and ensure data consistency.
•Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

Automation & Process Improvement
•Automate recurring reports and data refresh processes to reduce manual work.
•Support end-to-end data flow from source systems to Power BI reporting layer.
•Continuously identify opportunities to improve data processes and operational efficiency.

Business & Cross-functional Support
•Work closely with Sales, Channel, Finance, and Operations teams to understand reporting needs.
•Support dealer management, SAS data reporting, inventory tracking, and rebate analysis.

Data Governance & Documentation
•Follow data governance and access control standards.
•Document data definitions, report logic, and KPI calculations.
•Support data standardization initiatives within the organization.

Experiences/Education - Required

•Bachelor’s degree or above in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Business, or related field.
•2–5 years of experience in data analysis, BI reporting, or similar roles.

Experiences/Education - Desired

•Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboards, data modeling, DAX). 
•Solid knowledge of Power Query (M) for data transformation. 
•Experience working with Excel (including large datasets).
•Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to translate business questions into data insights.
