Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Position Description                                                                                                         

Purpose of the Position:
Overall Display logistic operation management to ensure the reliable supply to customers with lowest total logistic cost, Accountable for plant logistics escalated operational issue resolutions. Continuously optimize logistic operation processes. 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

o    Execute Display Logistics strategies and Display Network Optimization strategy with various departments including Supply Chain, plant logistic team and GLO as a representative of Display Logistics Operations
o    Develops and executes successful operations strategies for Display logistics, include international air, ocean, parcel, customs clearance operations, and warehousing.
o    Work closely with plant logistics, warehousing operations on day-to-day problem solving and lead Business Process Re-engineering efforts to pursuit industry excellence across Display regions and division
o    Support business operations to ensure reliable supply to customers with lowest total logistics costs
o    Lead and support Logistics projects for overall Display business, which will include network optimization, logistics system integration, logistics risk management in order to drive cost reduction related with Logistics Operations.

o    Manage or coordinate with CDT SC Planning team to link the planning, supply and logistics/transportation into a seamless SC efficiency.
o    Manage or coordinate with FF’s daily ops (including the freight booking, and lead-time tracking) with flawless execution and good quality.
o    Manage or coordinate with 3PL’s/4PLs or CGT external warehouse by solid performance matrix.
o    Support zero tolerance of trade compliance to work with GLO regional TC team for Trade Compliance SC and zero TC incidents continuously.
o    Participate to QBR and Drive the Corrective Action Plan related to logistics daily ops.
o    Support any strategic initiatives set by Display/CGT, GSM or corporate.
o    Ensures compliance with corporate policies and government regulations as required

Education & Experience  
•    Bachelor degree and above, BS preferred 
•    Master degree preferred 

Required Skills                                                

    Proven record solid 10+ year experiences on ops execution, supplier management, and project management.  
    People management skills and experience is required
    Demonstrate strong leadership in terms of flawless execution, influencing skills, and strategic initiative development of CDT logistics ops team formation.
    Customs and trade compliance knowledge is preferred.
    Green or black belt is preferred, with DESGN skills.
    Result-oriented with good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
    Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese, and strong summarization and articulation skills.
    Willing to work under pressure. Accept challenge and meet commitment and project deadline
    Business integrity, maturity, acumen, professionalism, energy, and teamwork spirit.
    As the organization and team’s continuous involving, the skills of dealing ambiguity with continuous revisit of the strategic R&R is a must.
