The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies.  Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes.  IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Provide technical support and maintenance for all EUS owner platforms and technologies
•    Act as a point of technical escalation for EUC engineering on support issues and project tasks
•    Support the EUC architect in strategic planning, product ownership and service delivery •    Partner with cross functional tech leads to ensure EUC technology is delivering value, meets corporate standards and is integrated with the wider technology stack appropriately
•    Partner with service and support owners in designing solutions and processes which meet business needs, improve user experience, and increase operational efficiency
•    Provide data and analytics on supported platforms and products to highlight operational and strategic insights
•    Create, review & facilitate documentation/records management via associated repositories (ACE, Knowledge Base, SharePoint etc.)
•    Represent EUS engineering in technical projects as required
•    Support Corning IT in delivery of strategic initiatives such as vulnerability management, fleet modernization, app rationalization etc

WORK EXPERIENCE

•    Minimum of 5 years EUC engineering roles
•    Experience of working in large corporations & complex technical environments

REQUIRED SKILLS

•    Expert in windows client system configuration and troubleshooting
•    Ability to work independently and lead complex projects
•    Proficient in configuring, implementing, supporting, and maintaining various EUC technologies, with a focus on the following: o    Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)
o    Windows 11
o    Patching
o    Group Policy
o    Image creation and deployment
o    M365 Apps
o    Intune / Autopilot

DESIRED SKILLS

•    Experience with a DEX technology (Nexthink preferred)
•    Experience with virtual solutions and technologies such as AVD/W365, Citrix, VMWare etc
•    Experience in macOS and Jamf •    Experience with broader infrastructure technologies
•    Experience with operational processes, procedures and best practices (ITIL)
•    Ability to create detailed process and technical documents as required
•    Analytically minded and solution oriented

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

•    Relevant technical qualifications / certifications 
•    Bachelors degree or extensive experience in relevant technical field
