Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Day to Day Responsibilities
• Supervise the daily operation and maintenance of facility systems, including electricity, HVAC, compressed air, water supply, drainage, fire protection, and other plant utilities.
• Lead and coordinate the facility team to ensure all facility equipment and systems are operating safely, reliably, and efficiently.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Monitor facility performance and respond promptly to equipment failures or utility-related issues to minimize operational disruption.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, EHS, and other functions to support plant operational needs.
• Manage external contractors and service providers for facility-related works, including maintenance, repair, installation, and inspections.
• Ensure all facility operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and EHS requirements.
• Support inspections, audits, and corrective actions related to facility management, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Control and optimize facility-related operating costs, including utilities consumption, maintenance expenses, and contractor costs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for maintenance, inspections, permits, and facility-related activities.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in facility reliability, energy efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Provide coaching, training, and daily management to facility technicians or operators.
• Work to comply company objectives and goals on Safety and EHS requirement, Obey all company EHS rules (Include: Policy, Procedure, SOP and other requirements)
Education & Experience
• Bachelor and /or above
• Major in mechanical engineering or in electromechanical integration
• At least 5 years’ experience in facility.
• Experience in facility projects is preferred.
