The global Human Resource (HR) Function provides an integrated talent management system that delivers a workforce that is Corning's competitive differentiator in the global marketplace.
HR provides service offerings that align solutions to business challenges by ensuring the programs are Effective, Efficient, Global, Scaleable, and Repeatable. Corning’s Values are operationalized by the HR Function through the facilitation of Talent Management offerings, as well as programs and processes that aid in making Corning’s Values visible.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Prepare HR reports and provide data analysis for CI China and the broader China region. Ready to support all kinds of HR audits.
- Serve as HR Data Steward, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of HR data.
- Manage the attendance system and employee benefits including GAT, EA, EAP and health checks.
- Maintain the CI China HR SharePoint site, ensuring information remain updated and accessible.
- Support contractor on/off-boarding; process contractor payroll and Annual Salary Review (ASR).
- Coordinate residence permit and household registration application processes.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives, including values, culture, and engagement programs, to foster a positive work environment.
- Coordinate HR operational processes while ensuring compliance with relevant documentation and workflow requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager or HR Director.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of HR experience in multinational companies.
- Experience in SAP HR system administration and HR data management.
Required Skills
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High sense of responsibility with strong commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
