IT Engineer

Responsibilities:

1.    Software Development:
o    Design and code scalable software solutions for MES and Non-MES applications.
o    Modify systems to fix errors, improve performance, and implement updates.
o    Develop and maintain stored procedures, views, jobs, and SSIS packages in SQL Server.

2.    Documentation and Analysis:
o    Create and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and system reports.
o    Analyze business processes and system requirements to translate them into technical solutions.

3.    Support and Maintenance:
o    Provide ongoing maintenance and extended support for MES applications, including on-call availability after hours.
o    Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to minimize downtime.

4.    Collaboration and Training:
o    Work closely with IT team members and cross-functional departments across multiple countries.
o    Gather requirements from system users and provide training or assistance as needed.

5.    Problem-Solving:
o    Address technical challenges with critical thinking and effective solutions.
o    Implement enhancements to improve system functionality and efficiency.

6.    Teamwork:
o    Participate in team projects and collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions

Education and Experience:

Required Skills 
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering in Computer Systems, or a related field.
•    3+ years of professional experience with .NET framework and programming languages (C# and VB.NET).
•    2+ years of experience working with T-SQL, including stored procedures, views, jobs, and SSIS.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    4+ years of .NET development experience.
•    5+ years of programming experience with C# and VB.NET.
•    3+ years of experience with advanced T-SQL concepts and tools.

Required Skills:

•    Proficiency in .NET framework, C#, and VB.NET.
•    Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including stored procedures, views, jobs, and SSIS.
•    Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•    High sense of urgency and reliability for 24/7 application support.

Desired Skills

•    Familiarity with ActiveMQ, MSMQ, XML, JSON.
•    Experience with terminal services configuration.
•    Proficiency in IDE Visual Studio (VS 2019 or higher).
•    Ability to create Windows Services.
•    Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC Web Applications and RESTful APIs.
•    Experience with WPF projects.
•    Exposure to project management and task tracking using JIRA software.
•    Understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
•    Experience with Angular (preferably Angular 15 or newer) for front-end development integrated with .NET 8.0 for backend development.
•    Desired fluent English communication with global team
