Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Internship Scope:

• The internship will be based on short-term projects, with a duration of around two months.
• The intern will directly participate in: Mathematical modeling, General model, algorithm, tool development.
• Projects related to the supply chain and production side.
• The intern is expected to work on new projects, and at the end of the internship deliver: Final report & presentation.

Background Preferred

• Master or PHD degree.
• Applied Mathematics, especially with strengths in: Operations Research/ Statistics.
• Prior coursework or project/research experience in multi-echelon supply chain simulation and optimization is must
